Summer is almost, basically over. (23rd September – First day of Autumn) and I thought it would be nice to have a look back on what the summer brought for me this year. Not a lot if I’m completely honest but never the less I’m going to continue with the summer 2019 reflection.
At the start of the summer, I created a summer bucket list which you can go and read here if you’d like, whilst creating the list was great fun, I actually achieved very little on it. I only just managed to fit in a trip to the seaside and visited a wildlife park; that’s about it, but I did manage to do some things that weren’t on the bucket list at all like visiting Cadbury world and taking Stewart on his first outing to Tattershall Castle.
The weather here in the UK has been really bad this summer, it’s not really been a summer at all and we did get a few good days where we were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine, a few days where it’s been so hot you’re literally going to melt if you go outside and days where you’d think it had switched seasons overnight but thats the UK weather for you and something you’d think as Britons we’d be used to by now but nope, we still moan about it like it’s going to make a difference.
My pregnant body is thankful for the fact we haven’t had a consistent hot summer because honestly, I don’t think that it could have coped with it so to say that I am happy the colder months are coming is an understatement. The last half of my pregnancy will be over the colder months of the year.
Summer Reflection 2019
It’s been a special summer never the less though as it was my last one as a solo person. Next summer I will have a mini-me to go on thousands of adventures with and I can not wait to be able to get my imagination flowing with my very own little person.
How was your summer? Link me to your summer posts or comment just what you’ve been up to and stay tuned for my Autumn bucket list that will be linked here when it’s live.
Thank you for reading.
