Happy Sunday guys! It is officially summer! The post is a little later up this morning and that is because I’ve been so busy this week I am literally writing this up today!
SUMMER FIESTA, BABY
This week was mainly about sorting out the garden and house ready for Saturday’s antics. We had planned a summer party for such a long time. Stressful doesn’t even come close. Saying that though, it was totally worth it as we had the most amazing day entertaining family and friends. Stewart invited his friend Ashley and it was so lovely to see him as well as having our family catch up all together again for the first time since Halloween! I tried to get and encourage other people to get tons of photographs however we were having such a fun time that I don’t think anyone took many photographs at all but here are a couple I’ve managed to get hold of.
A Day (Or Half) At The Seaside
Last Sunday Stewart and I decided to venture off to the seaside, I was in a foul mood and I was sure he was going to leave me there. We drove all the way to Skegness, had some lunch, I had an amazing hot dog with chips all for under a fiver!! We walked along the beach but soon found ourselves to get extremely bored and ventured home. I’m not really one for going to the seaside when it’s full. It’s much better when you get to go to the beach and have very little people around and it wasn’t long before we decided to go back home.
Unfortunately asides from all that not a lot has really happened this week. I’ve spent a lot of time cleaning the garden and house ready for the party we were having and that’s it.
The Fashion & Beauty bit!
This week I am absolutely LOVING my flamingo and botanic bikini.
I’ve lived in it all week and am completely obsessed with its beauty. I have also been experimenting a lot with my make up this week, adding diamonte to my face to give it a bit more and I have been loving it! What do you think?
The creative corner
So this week, i’ve not had time to do anything photographic or painting wise in order to create a feature in this part of the blog post, however I have made such an effort in creating the garden into a summer fun haven that I think that deserves to be my feature in this week’s creative corner. I went all out to get out the paddling pool and buy 5 bags of sand to create a mini beach down the bottom of my garden. I think I enjoyed it more than the kids did.
THIS WEEKS HIGHLIGHTS
Coming up this week!
This week I have absolutely nothing planned and I am feeling great for it. I am hoping to get a lot of work done this week, creating some fresh content for you guys to get your teeth into and getting the ball rolling with some collaborations with some photographers.
