Summer 2020 Best Bits

Summer 2020 Best Bits

To say that summer 2020 has been an absolute shambles is an understatement, however, I’m still going to search through and find my summer 2020 best bits. When looking through my photographs from June up until now the activities that we’ve actually ventured on is few. It’s been a shame too with Minnie being here and not being able to take her to places, however, she is still so young that she’s not going to remember much, next year should be a lot better.

I’m excited to look back on our summer 2020 best bits so here we go. We got to spend a good amount of time with family though considering the circumstances and that was what was most important. Minnie got to experience the beach a couple of times, she got to see the peak district which I was adamant on doing in her first year anyway.

Anyway, I went through my phone’s photographs from the summer and saved all the photographs that defined what summer was for us here at number 20. It’s not been too bad considering COVID has been looming over our shoulders.

Minnie’s first experience in a paddling pool resulted in a proper water baby. She adores water.

We found a surprise Christmas tree field on one of our last walks of the summer and it was a pleasant find, it got Stewart and I so excited for our first trip to get our real Christmas tree this year to start our Christmas traditions with Minnie.

I can’t believe how quickly summer has gone and passed us by. I can’t quite believe that we’re in our last few months of the year. I cannot wait to see the back of it, just the most of us but what I really want to do is enjoy autumn with my mini-me. What have been your summer best bits?

Stay tuned for my Autumn bucket list for 2020, it’s going to be a good one.
