Level Up Your Life in 4 Steps
Do you feel like your life is in a huge slump, you’re completely stuck and nothing is changing. Here are a few things you can do to level up your life and have it feel a lot less stagnant.
I’m going to share with you some tips that work for me when I feel like my life needs a good old level up.
Level Up Your Life
Tip #1 Work on your identity.
My main tip is to build up your identity. If you’re feeling stuck and stagnant, ultimately, 9/10 times it’s because of yourself. Focusing on building yourself up will help massively and here are some ways you can do that;
- Read books: Only do this though if you enjoy reading. Reading because you think you should be just going to get you nowhere.
- Change your bad habits: It takes 21 days to create a new habit. Try not to do the bad one and work on giving yourself a new one in its place. My bad habit was biting my nails – I replaced that with doing my bullet journal when I felt anxious and now I have luscious, long natural nails.
- Aim high: Don’t aim for what you think you’re capable of, aim much higher than that, you’ll get much further than you ever thought you would that way and it will make you feel amazing.
- Fake it, ’till you make it: This weirdly works. Try it.
Tip #2 Be Sneaky!
Keeping things on the downlow makes it easier to achieve, not having the pressure of other people on your back increases your chances of coming out with positive results and you’ll feel amazing that you did it on your own without the influence of other people in your life and then you get to surprise everyone.
Tip #3 Do More.
You’ll find that by adding more variety to your everyday life that you automatically spicec things up, for example; I love to go out and take photographs and the more that I go out and do it the more I feel inspired and motivated in more than one area of my life, keep your brain active.
If meeting up with friends or family makes you happy – do it more. Ultimately it’s entirely in your hands and in your control. Do more of your absolute favourite things.
Tip #4 Get Organised
If you get organised you’ll feel like your a lot more in control of everything within your life. One of the first things I do when life feels stuck is I buy a new notebook (you don’t need to buy a new notebook it’s just one of my weird obsessions!) and I use it to jot down everything that’s bothering me and then I supply them with solutions. I also like to write down everything that needs doing, to do list after to do list and ticking it off when I’ve done something increases my motivation. It’s a huge help and I would 100% recommend this one.
