Nowadays, in the photography community, all we tend to see is black and white images or colored ones with cool instagrammable filters on them, about a month ago I found myself wondering where has sepia gone and why don’t we see it around as much anymore.
Sepia used to be one of my favorite effects when I was just starting out with photography, it was so popularly used and it’s weird because I can’t even remember when it first started to potentially ”die’‘ out.
It wasn’t until I saw an image on EyeEm that I realized that Sepia photography was something we don’t see enough if done in the right way it can be completely stunning.
I made it my mission to shoot sepia images for a week. This is my part I am playing in bringing Sepia imagery back!
