Flowers in Infrared

Here I am again giving you some more juicy flowers in infrared imagery. I’ve done photographs of flowers before in infrared so it’s not something I’m new to however, it’s not something that exactly gets old either.

As I have stated before in other infrared blog posts, infrared is amazing because it allows you to see something in a way that is impossible to see with your naked eye. You will more than likely recognise infrared when it comes to night vision cameras. People film in infrared in hopes of capturing something other worldly.

I’d love to know what you think of these images. I’ve grown quite fond of them, especially the ones of the roses on their own. I’ve really enjoyed getting back into taking photographs and have made the most of it because I’m sure that it won’t last.

All of the images in this post were taken with a canon 400d infrared conversion paired with a 18-55mm zoom lens. Post processing was very little, however done in Adobe Lightroom.
