Baby Journals; Minnie-Jean at 3 Months Old
At this point Minnie is seemingly changing every single day. She’s getting more of a character, her face is changing and she’s getting bigger. I can honestly say as well that I am enjoying every little bit of her progress. At first I was so upset over the thought of her not being a tiny baby forever but that soon passed and I’ve embraced every little change that she’s gone through.
I can’t say that much has really changed from the two-month update though, giggles are still very rare, lots of smiles still though, especially in the morning. Poops have become that little more frequent because before they were once every two days, she’s awake a lot more and wanting to interact with you and her eye contact is STRONG. She’s rapidly growing out of clothes at the moment which means I’ve started now to bag up the clothing that’s too small for her.
I’ve noticed that she’s always wanting to be standing too. Is that normal? Whenever she can she pushes with her legs to stand up. She’s also very vocal now and talks to or more accurately makes noise at you when you interact with her.
She had her second set of jabs this month and I didn’t go in with her this time, Stewart took her in because of the lockdown rules and I can’t drive. I’m kinda pleased because I don’t think I could have coped seeing them jab her in the leg and making her cry again like, I know it’s for her own good but still it’s really hard to watch. You’d think they could at least numb the area where they’re jabbing, seeing as they’re only little and their extra sensitive but you know.
She’s sleeping through now, as long as we give her her last feed at midnight or 11 she sleeps all the way to anywhere around 6/9 hours a night and she’s extremely grumpy if anything interrupts that routine.
I’m almost certain that Minnie is also teething, she’s constantly dribbling and chewing on her hands and actually loves her little teething mitten, obviously no teeth have broken through because it’s too soon for that, but somethings definitely happening.
