A Whole Load More Gardening!

Hello everyone! Welcome back! It’s good to see you’re back and reading what i’ve been getting up to. It’s honestly nice to know people like to read these because honestly, i’m so uninspired with your everyday generic blog post’s right now. I’ve been making the most of the extra help around the house and getting jobs done, the biggest one you may have read previously in my self isolation blog would be the garden and guys and gals, we’ve almost bloody finished it!

We have a large burn pile but obviously aren’t going to burn it until lockdown is over and we’re not causing a massive extra risk to anyone by burning a load of very dead and dry foliage. We can actually now see parts of our garden we haven’t seen for years, and I actually mean YEARS. We’ve cut the grass about 4 times in the past 4 weeks because we’re trying to keep it down because it seems to have something extraordinary in it’s soil because it grows like no other grass I’ve known before.

The dogs have a new game they love to play as well, i’m not entirely sure what it’s called because they’ve not told me but it consists of dropping a deflated basket ball in the pond and then jumping in the pond to retrieve it, safe to say aster 3 days of them doing that in a row, their bath water was absolutely filth, it keeps them amused though whilst we’re doing our own thing in the garden, sometimes Noah does get fed up with the water and will bring his ball to us and bark continuously until we kick it to the other end of the garden.

I’ve managed to get a nice tan over these last couple of days, I’m struggling a little bit with the eczema on my hands (which i haven’t had since i was like 4!) and that’s causing me to not be able to do much with my hands, meaning all my drawing and writing has been put on hold. Even washing the posts irritates them.

How’ve you all been keeping busy? Probably the same way I have doing house DIY or garden stuff, there’s so little for us all to be doing really being locked down but we’ve literally got to make the most out of this and when it’s all over we can show our hard work off to our family and friends. I know I can’t wait to get my family round for a bbq and music sesh; probably a Singstar marathon again because that’s what we do best.

Anywho, that’s all I have to update you on at the moment my lovelies. I hope to be back with you soon with some much more interesting, hopefully content. I’m also going to start posting more of my photography because ultimately, that was first and foremost what this blog was for and I think my craft should 100% be included in it.

Oh, and before I go. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with going outside to spot the Starlink satellites this week, have you guys seen them? They don’t look how they’re depicted to online but they’re pretty noticeable once you spot the continuous moving object, if you’ve ever seen the space station pass over, it’s like that but more of them in a line with equal quite large distancing apart. Let me know if you’ve caught a glimpse!
