Fine Art Photography – Portraiture

Fine Art Photography – Portraiture

Fine Art portraiture is something I am extremely dedicated to at the moment, as some of you may be aware I am currently working on my FMP and much to my surprise I chose to work with portraits. Something that only a year ago I was adamant I didn’t enjoy but by taking a year out I came to notice that it was something I actually missed.
Both of these images were created with the most simple set up that consisted of a red throw and a single studio light. If you’d be interested in diagrams of my lighting set up, please let me know and I will certainly start including them in my photography posts.

Equipment used:

– Canon 6D;
50mm

ƒ/22

1/125s

ISO 100

– 50mm 1.4
– A singular studio light & parabolic reflector.
